Living Nativities

Living Nativity at St Francis Cathedral, Baker City, OREGON

Nativity displays are becoming very popular, especially with live people, including a newborn baby. Our parish has held living nativities over the years, as these pictures show. We also re-create the birth of Jesus during the children’s Mass on Christmas Eve.

A particular school in Malta yesterday broke the Guinness World record for the largest ever nativity, with 789 characters, by-passing by 40 the previous record. The cast included a 6-week old baby and the Principal of the school, a Christian Brother as one of the Kings.
