Over the years hundreds of stamps were issued by most countries, commemorating Christmas. Lots of artwork has been displayed through stamps, besides other crafts, decorations and symbolism that is frequently pertinent to the particular country. My home country of Malta has always been in the forefront for beautiful stamps, especially during the 1960s and 1970s when Emvin Cremona designed most of them. I took these photos from a shop window in Valletta, Malta, and so the quality is not the best, but one can see the beauty of the designs, innovative and pioneering in many ways.
