Various exhibitions of miniature statues are held in various places during the celebration of Holy Week. Some of them are for sale, but most of them are arranged chronologically according to the Passion of Jesus with the Agony in the Garden being first, and the Entombment as last. These are usually hand-made by enthusiasts, made from paper-mache, occasionally draped in real clothing. These are just a few of the many statuettes crafted by a friend of mine from my home-town of St Julian's, Christopher Micallef. These statues are approximately 12 to 18 inches in height.
